Job summary

Fermi America is constructing Project Matador, a large-scale energy campus in Texas, and seeks a Senior Recruiter to own full life cycle recruiting across construction, financial, and commercial roles. You will source directly, screen candidates, and manage offers while coordinating with hiring managers to align role strategy.

You will travel between Dallas and Amarillo to build pipelines, manage high-volume requisitions, and contribute to a rapidly scaling TA function within a hands-on startup

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience with direct sourcing as a core part of the role.
• Experience recruiting across multiple functions simultaneously, including construction, technical, or industrial with corporate roles.
• Comfortable managing a high-volume requisition load independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong candidate communication and interview coordination skills.
• Experience with an ATS and standard sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search).
• Willingness to travel between Dallas and Amarillo, TX.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for an assigned portfolio of requisitions across construction, financial, commercial, and other business teams.
• Run intake meetings with hiring managers to scope role requirements, must-haves, and sourcing strategy.
• Source passive and active candidates directly using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
• Screen candidates for role fit, qualifications, compensation alignment, and interest.
• Manage the candidate experience from first outreach through offer and close, including scheduling, interview logistics, and timely communication.
• Build and manage a strong, active pipeline for recurring or hard-to-fill role types.
• Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on market conditions, candidate availability, and realistic hiring timelines.
• Present slates of qualified candidates with clear rationale on fit.
• Guide hiring managers through structured interview and evaluation processes.
• Build talent pipelines specific to Dallas and Amarillo labor markets, including skilled trades and construction talent.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records in the ATS.
• Track and report recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline volume, offer acceptance rate).
• Provide feedback on process gaps, tooling needs, and sourcing channel performance as the TA function scales.
• Help document repeatable playbooks for recurring role types.
