Job summary

Amazon Greenville is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to lead site operations, develop the team, and drive budgetary and performance objectives. You will mentor Operations and Area Managers, implement Lean initiatives, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT to secure resources.

This role requires 7+ years in management within logistics or distribution and a track record of achieving results in high-pressure settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years of direct management experience in logistics or distribution.
• Proven track record of delivering performance and financial results under pressure.
• Experience with Lean methodologies.
• Strong analytical capability with data-driven problem solving.
• Excellent communication in English.
• Experience managing third-party resources regionally.
• Experience managing contingent workforce during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Drives creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and Lean initiatives to meet/exceed business plan.
• Responsible for safety, quality, performance and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations.
• Set and clarify requirements for Operations and Area Managers; measure performance and provide feedback.
• Leverage Managers by sourcing ideas and building improvement plans for the area.
• Ensure best practices are shared across departments, shifts and the network.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers for resources.
