Job summary

Scion Staffing is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise Field Service Management (FSM) implementations for utilities, energy and telecom clients. You will translate business needs into functional requirements and work with client stakeholders and technical teams to deliver solutions.

The role emphasizes leading discovery, creating user stories, and ensuring successful integrations with ERP/CRM systems, while leveraging SQL and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional business analysis experience in enterprise tech.
• Experience in utilities, energy, or telecommunications.
• Hands-on SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Independently lead requirements workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and requirements-gathering workshops to understand business objectives, operational workflows, and system requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes, identify operational gaps, and recommend improvements supporting Field Service Management, mobile workforce operations, and enterprise technology implementations.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation for technical and implementation teams.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Technical Analysts, Project Managers, and client stakeholders to support FSM implementations and integrations with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications.
• Develop test cases, support functional and integration testing, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and assist with defect identification, resolution, and validation.
• Utilize SQL, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and process mapping tools to analyze data, manage requirements, maintain project documentation, and support successful system implementations.
