Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for the Frontend group. You will lead two distributed squads shaping the frontend platform, navigation, and AI-assisted enhancements, partnering with Product and Design.

You’ll mentor senior engineers, drive architectural decisions, and push for high-quality, observable systems in a remote, globally distributed team. You’ll leverage AI to improve planning, delivery speed, and operability while maintaining strong security and accessibility

Qualifications

Experience leading senior engineers and building healthy technical teams.
Strong foundation in modern frontend systems and architectural decisions.
Proven ability to translate customer needs into technical roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
Experience applying AI/automation to engineering and product workflows.
Ability to drive delivery across multiple squads and manage risks.

Responsibilities

Be accountable for the performance of two distributed engineering squads.
Own hiring and team planning across both squads.
Lead discovery with customers and internal users to shape roadmaps.
Partner with Product, Design and engineering leaders on priorities and trade-offs.
Own delivery from discovery to rollout and measurement; set milestones.
