Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a remote senior engineering leader to manage backend and frontend teams responsible for Grafana Cloud components. Qualifications

• Experience leading backend and frontend engineering teams.
• Strong background in observability or central control planes for fleets of collectors.
• Comfort collaborating across time zones in a fully remote environment.
• Able to translate customer needs into technical decisions and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the team of backend and frontend engineers, providing regular feedback and supporting growth.
• Collaborate with go-to-market to ensure customers succeed with Observability collection journeys.
• Ensure Fleet Management, Kubernetes Helm Chart, and Instrumentation Hub fit end-to-end Grafana Cloud UX.
• Guide projects from ideation through planning, execution and post-launch.
• Foster a psychologically safe environment encouraging experimentation and continuous improvement.
• Work across teams to solve customer problems and align with broader company initiatives.
