This Senior Engineering Manager, Grafana Frontend role focuses on leading the Frontend Platform and Navigation squads, enabling high-quality user experiences, AI-enabled productivity, and strong engineering practices across a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

Be accountable for the performance of two distributed engineering squads; set expectations and coach team members.
Own hiring and team planning across both squads; align capacity with priorities.
Lead discovery with customers, community members and internal users to shape roadmaps and priorities.
Partner with Product, Design and engineering leaders to set priorities and resolve dependencies.
Own delivery from discovery through rollout and measurement with milestones and risk management.
Use AI regularly in management work to synthesize research and inform decisions.
