Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience building and operating large-scale distributed serving systems in high-concurrency environments.
• Experience designing low-latency, scalable backend APIs.
• Strong collaboration with product, data science, and frontend teams.
• Experience with modern backend tooling and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with data-driven decision making and experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the full software lifecycle for major backend initiatives from design to rollout and observability.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs (GraphQL, REST, gRPC) for client consumption.
• Lead performance optimization and reliability improvements across services.
• Mentor teammates and improve engineering workflows with modern tooling.
