Job summary

Fidus Systems seeks an FPGA Designer to create and deliver complex FPGA-based systems for diverse clients. You will architect solutions, implement RTL, integrate IP, run simulations, and help with timing closure and lab bring-up.

You will work across video, communications, storage, and DSP domains, collaborating with hardware, embedded software, and verification teams. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing RTL/Verilog/VHDL on FPGAs.
• Experience with video systems, high-speed memory/bus interfaces, DSP or processor instantiations.
• Created designs using Xilinx or Altera FPGA families and tool flow.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex FPGA/CPLD based systems including architecture, custom development, and simulations.
• Perform timing analysis and closure; integrate IP and run lab bring-up.
• Design and review hardware interfaces; support test plans and documentation.
• Provide technical input during pre-sales and project proposals.
