Job summary

Fidus Systems in Denver, CO seeks an experienced FPGA Designer to deliver complex FPGA-based systems for clients across high-tech markets. You will architect, implement RTL, integrate IP, run simulations, and assist with timing closure and lab bring-up.

You will work across video, communications, storage, and signal processing domains, collaborating with hardware, embedded software, verification, and SI/PI teams to deliver robust, well-documented designs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of RTL/Verilog/VHDL FPGA design experience.
• Experience with video systems, high-speed memory, and DSP.
• Proficient with Xilinx/Intel FPGA toolchains.
• Strong English communication and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex FPGA and/or CPLD based systems including architecture, custom development, IP integration, simulations, and timing analysis and closure.
• Design FPGA based systems using Xilinx and Intel devices and tools.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure quality standards and customer requirements.
• Perform lab testing, debug of prototypes, and support other engineers as needed.
• Prepare customer prototype demonstrations and write test plans and design documentation.
• Provide technical insight to customers during pre-sales and implementation phases.
• Offer detailed estimates on project scope, schedule, and deliverables for proposals.
