Job summary

Solstice seeks a Sr Finance Manager to lead the Commercial FP&A team in Morris Plains, NJ, with responsibility for monthly close, forecasting, AOP, and executive reporting. You will partner with business leaders to consolidate performance across lines of business and deliver actionable insights.

You will develop and coach team members, strengthen analytical skills, and drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and effective storytelling to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, analysis and forecasting skills.
• Comfort with month-end close and booking reclassing and accrual journal entries.
• Proven leadership skills; experienced in leading teams and projects.
• Strong and confident communicator with peers, subordinates and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a mature Commercial FP&A team in timely, accurate, and complete monthly close reporting, weekly Pulse Deliverables, MOR presentations, MD&A commentary, and annual AOP.
• Develop tactical and leadership qualities in direct reports and coach on storytelling to inform leadership decisions.
• Collaborate across functions to align with business objectives and strengthen Finance confidence and trust.
• Consolidate multiple lines of business into the holistic ESM, escalate significant variances and risks.
• Maintain a strong Say/Do ratio by ensuring forecast accuracy and delivering action items from meetings.
