Qualifications

• 7+ years in a professional services FP&A role with forecasting and budgeting.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling; can explain complex models.
• Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills.
• Experience with large datasets and BI tools preferred.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work under pressure.
• Leadership of workstreams in a flat, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently build, maintain, and enhance complex financial models supporting revenue forecasting, cost analysis, cash flow planning, rate analysis, profitability analysis, and strategic scenario modeling.
• Develop revenue forecasts and related analyses incorporating historical trends, billing and collections patterns, matter activity, staffing assumptions, practice group dynamics, and other drivers.
• Support lateral partner, group, and growth analyses including modeling projected revenue, compensation, staffing, expenses, profitability, cash flow impact, and scenarios.
• Prepare financial analyses and executive-ready presentations for firm leadership and administrators with clear narrative and recommended actions.
• Analyze key performance drivers including hours, rates, realization, leverage, client profitability, and market trends.
• Collaborate with BI and finance colleagues to leverage source data and reporting tools with financial judgment.
• Translate complex data into concise insights for planning, pricing, staffing, and strategy.
• Conduct detailed expense, headcount, and cost analyses to support budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with annual budget, forecast updates, long-range planning, and leadership-facing materials.
• Respond to ad hoc requests from senior leadership by framing issues and delivering findings clearly.
• Benchmark performance against internal and market data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate in a flat team environment and contribute analytical capacity without formal people management.
