The role requires strong FP&A fundamentals, advanced Excel, and experience with BI tools, able to communicate data-driven narratives to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IS, or STEM; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years in a professional services FP&A role.
• Strong FP&A foundation: forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, scenario modeling, cash flow.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling; can explain complex models.
• Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills.
• Experience with large data sets; familiarity with BI tools and financial systems.
• Excellent communication, time management, and discretion.
• Ability to lead work streams and influence stakeholders in a flat team.

Responsibilities

• Independently build, maintain, and enhance complex financial models for revenue, cost, cash flow, and rate analyses.
• Develop revenue forecasts with drivers like historical trends, activity, staffing, and practice dynamics.
• Support strategic growth analyses and impact on revenue, compensation, expenses, and cash flow.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and presentations for leadership and offices.
• Analyze firm performance drivers: hours, rates, realization, leverage, client profitability, market trends.
• Collaborate with BI and finance teams to leverage data sources and dashboards.
• Translate data into actionable insights for planning, pricing, staffing, and decisions.
• Assist with annual budget, forecasts, long-range planning, and leadership materials.
• Respond to ad hoc requests with clear framing, data, and findings.
• Benchmark performance against internal and external data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Work in a flat team with hands-on analytical contribution.
