You will own nuanced analyses from framing questions to presenting findings, partnering with FP&A, BI, and broader Finance teams to drive planning, pricing, and staffing decisions for the firm.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a professional services FP&A environment.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and executive-level financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel and modeling skills; ability to build, maintain, and explain complex models.
• Experience with data visualization and BI platforms (Power BI/Tableau).
• Ability to translate data into concise, decision-ready narratives.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently build and maintain complex financial models for revenue forecasting, cost analysis, and strategic scenarios.
• Develop revenue forecasts using historical trends, matter activity, staffing assumptions, and business drivers.
• Support partner and growth analyses, modeling revenue, compensation, expenses, and profitability.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and presentations for leadership with clear narratives and risks.
• Analyze drivers like hours, rates, realization, leverage, and client profitability.
• Collaborate with BI and finance teams to leverage data sources and dashboards.
• Translate complex data into practical insights for planning, pricing, and staffing.
• Conduct detailed cost and headcount analyses to support budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with annual budgets, long-range plans, and forecast updates.
• Respond to senior leadership requests with structured data and insights.
• Benchmark performance against internal and external data to identify risks/opportunities.
• Work with teams in a flat structure, contributing hands-on analysis.
