Job summary

Target is seeking a Sr. Manager Financial Planning & Analytics, Stores Finance to lead end-to-end financial performance for a regional network of 500+ stores.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree or MBA, or equivalent experience in Finance/Operations.
• 1–5 years of experience in a finance/operational environment; retail or supply chain preferred.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent leadership, with initiative and a results-driven mindset.
• Ability to work with all levels of management with autonomy, motivation, and self-direction.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills; ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• Experience with large data sets and linking data to reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create and own monthly sales forecasts and hourly payroll plans for the region, ensuring operational, financial and team objectives are strategically balanced.
• Build strong relationships with senior stores leaders to understand and assess operational wins and opportunities and share and drive key financial outcomes.
• Identify areas for productivity and process improvement through analysis and modeling, leading with your point of view and bringing to life through partnerships with stores leaders and cross functional partners.
• Support designing, testing and implementing optimal regional strategies that can be scaled chain-wide
• Function as a stakeholder on cross-functional project teams to deliver key strategic initiatives.
• Form strong partnerships within the Stores Finance team, Labor Engineering, Store Operations, and HR.
