Job summary

Medtronic in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a senior Finance professional to serve as FP&A lead for Portfolio+. You will coordinate forecasting, reporting, and performance management across the portfolio, partnering with Operating Unit Finance and Strategy teams to deliver actionable insights.

The role drives the Latest Best Estimate process, prepares Monthly Financial Review and ExCom materials, and ensures accurate tie-outs across systems while seeking opportunities to simplify and standardize

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of Finance or Accounting experience OR Advanced degree with 8+ years of Finance or Accounting experience.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and performance management.
• Experience developing executive-level financial presentations, reporting, and business insights.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead core FP&A processes across Portfolio+, including forecasting, reporting, financial analysis, and performance management.
• Lead the Latest Best Estimate (LBE) process with consolidation, risk assessment, and stakeholder alignment.
• Develop and coordinate Monthly Financial Review, ExCom, and other executive deliverables.
• Analyze financial results and key drivers to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Manage forecast tie-outs, variance analysis, and reporting accuracy across systems.
• Own the Portfolio+ FP&A calendar and coordinate milestones with stakeholders.
• Partner with global Operating Unit Finance and Strategy teams to align assumptions and deliverables.
• Drive process improvements through simplification and standardized reporting.
