Medtronic in Plymouth, Minnesota is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to serve as a strategic finance partner to the Vice President of Peripheral Vascular Health Clinical Research & Medical Science and the Senior Director. You will lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for a global clinical research portfolio and influence cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; 7+ years of finance or accounting experience (5+ with advanced degree).
Experience supporting clinical research, R&D, or product development organizations.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and long-range planning skills.

Responsibilities

Primary finance partner to VP, supporting planning and reporting for global clinical research.
Lead FP&A for Peripheral Vascular Health portfolio across pre- and post-market studies.
Maintain and enhance financial models aligning study design with forecasts.
Collaborate with clinical operations to forecast enrollment and budgets.
Provide financial leadership for external research and investigator‑sponsored programs.
Deliver consolidated reporting and key metrics to leadership.
Drive financial rigor and governance across clinical investments.
