Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a seasoned FP&A professional to join the Global Operations and Supply Chain team. You will analyze gross margin drivers for the Medical Surgical portfolio, collaborate across OUs, and help drive sustainable margin expansion through data-driven insights and cross-functional partnering.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, enterprise-system experience, and exceptional analytical skills. Onsite four days a week with one day remote; relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience leveraging enterprise systems (SAP, BPCS, Hyperion Spend, CMR) to drive insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of product costs and key drivers of cost.
• Gather historical information and summarize data to highlight gross margin trends.
• Collaborate across GOSC and Medical Surgical Portfolio teams to align strategies and improve margins.
• Lead OU presentations of GOSC impact on Gross Margin analysis and provide finance commentary to management.
• Support AOP and quarterly forecasts with accurate OU allocations and targets.
