Job summary

Galvanize Therapeutics in Redwood City, CA seeks a Senior FP&A Manager to own Revenue and COGS forecasting, partnering with Commercial, R&D, Operations and Quality leadership. This hybrid role reports to the Finance team and collaborates with the CCO, COO, and CRO to shape growth and margins as the company advances toward IPO.

The role requires a strong track record in driver-based models, high-level Excel skills, and experience in med tech or revenue-generating environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 7–10+ years FP&A or related experience in high-growth/private and public-company environments.
• Experience in revenue forecasting and COGS modeling with driver-based models.
• Master-level Excel and hands-on financial modeling expertise.
• Medical device or med tech industry experience at a revenue-generating, commercial-stage company with a durable asset plus recurring revenue model.
• Track record of negotiating resolutions when targets are missed.
• Experience building processes and driving adoption under ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own the Revenue model end to end with driver-based forecast in partnership with Commercial leadership.
• Build and own the full COGS model across the product portfolio.
• Lead the commercial and operations forecasting cycles (quarterly forecast, annual budgeting, long-range planning).
• Own OPEX forecasting and budgeting across business units (S&M, R&D/Facilities/IT, RAQA).
• Run monthly variance analysis and business reviews and identify drivers and path forward.
• Prepare Board and executive financial materials for revenue and margins.
• Own FP&A systems/templates for Revenue and COGS modeling and drive process improvements.
• Support IPO and public-company readiness with GAAP alignment and scalable processes.
