Job summary

Beam Therapeutics is seeking a Director of FP&A (Commercial) to lead planning, partner with the Commercial organization, and drive accurate revenue forecasts. You will collaborate with Accounting and Manufacturing on budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans, building complex models to support decisions.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in FP&A (biotech a plus), strong Excel and modeling skills, US GAAP knowledge, and comfort leveraging AI tools to streamline processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years FP&A experience, 2+ years in commercial FP&A; biotech preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent.
• Solid US GAAP knowledge and financial statement understanding.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Commercial and risto-cel program finance teams to plan forecasts.
• Oversee budgeting, LRP, and rolling forecast activities with cross-functional input.
• Build and maintain complex financial models for long-range planning.
• Analyze monthly budget vs. actuals and report insights to leadership.
• Assess risks/opportunities and update forecast accordingly.
• Special projects and process improvements as required.
