Job summary

SOPHiA GENETICS is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to own and improve Excel models and revenue reporting, while delivering insights via Power BI dashboards. You will gather data from Salesforce, Jira and Dynamics, support budgeting and forecasting, and present findings to senior finance leaders.

This hybrid Boston-based role offers collaboration with the FP&A team, process improvements, and opportunities to automate reporting and drive strategic decision-making in a rapidly growing healthcare

Qualifications

• 3-4 years experience in Financial Analysis / FP&A
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to build complex models
• Experience with financial data and financial modeling in FP&A
• Ability to explain model data and decisions from source to outputs
• Experience with Power BI, Databricks, SQL or Planful is useful

Responsibilities

• Build and improve Excel models, revenue reporting and Power BI dashboards to track revenue and volumes
• Gather, organize and validate financial data from Salesforce, Jira and Dynamics for reliable reporting
• Contribute to annual budget, monthly reforecast and long-range plan; analyze results vs plan
• Prepare and present revenue performance reviews and recommendations to senior finance and executives
• Partner across functions on ad-hoc analysis and help automate reporting and AI initiatives
