Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead planning, performance management, and decision support across the Strategy, Planning & Operations (SPO) organization. You will manage a small team and own base reporting for migrations and renewals, with responsibility for sales forecasting and revenue risk analysis.

Fully remote position open to candidates anywhere in the U.S. You will partner with SPO and sales leadership, translate complex data into executive insights, and drive efficient FP&A

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in finance, with planning, forecasting, and business case evaluation.
• Experience leading or mentoring analysts.
• Experience with revenue, sales, or customer base analytics (e.g., renewals, churn, contract term, or pipeline/funnel analysis).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud, Essbase, Power BI, and Salesforce.
• Experience in finance business partnership, strategic initiatives, or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Reporting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis.
• Own base management reporting for customer migrations and renewals, informing renewal and retention priorities.
• Deliver sales reporting and forecasting, including funnel analysis, conversion, pipeline coverage, and sales productivity.
• Support the Revenue Finance rhythm of business with monthly forecasts and annual planning.
• Provide financial support to the SPO organization including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling.
• Translate complex financial data into executive-ready insights for decision-making.
• Lead FP&A processes, tools, and reporting for efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two analysts; partner with SPO and sales leadership.
