Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Manager of FP&A to lead financial planning, performance management, and decision support for the SPO organization. You will manage two analysts, own base management reporting for migrations/renewals, and drive sales forecasting and revenue analysis.

The role emphasizes financial rigor, strategic execution, and partnership with sales leadership to navigate revenue risk and growth in a fully remote U.S. setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in finance, with a strong background in planning, forecasting, and business case evaluation.
• Experience leading or mentoring analysts.
• Experience with revenue, sales, or customer analytics (renewals, churn, contract term, or pipeline/funnel analysis).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own base management reporting for migrations and renewals, using the customer contract term profile to highlight where revenue risk lands and to inform renewal and retention priorities.
• Deliver sales reporting and forecasting, including funnel analysis, conversion, pipeline coverage, and sales productivity, to inform capacity, coverage, and investment decisions.
• Support the Revenue Finance organization’s rhythm of business, including monthly forecasts, annual planning, and performance reviews, in alignment with corporate FP&A processes, timelines, and governance standards.
• Provide financial support to the SPO organization, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, business cases, and scenario analysis.
• Translate complex financial and sales data into clear, executive‑ready insights to inform decision‑making.
• Own and enhance FP&A processes, tools, and reporting to improve efficiency, accuracy, and insight.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two analysts, setting clear priorities and fostering strong analytical rigor and executive communication.
