Job summary

Lumen is hiring a Senior Manager, FP&A, to lead financial planning, performance management, and decision support for the Strategy, Planning & Operations organization. You will guide a two-person analyst team, deliver base management reporting for migrations and renewals, and oversee sales forecasting and revenue analytics.

You will partner with SPO and sales leadership to drive strategic initiatives, forecast accuracy, and financial rigor across a remote U.S. workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 7+ years of finance experience with planning, forecasting, and business case evaluation.
• Experience leading or mentoring analysts.
• Experience with revenue, sales, or customer analytics (renewals, churn, contract term, pipeline/funnel).
• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud, Essbase, Power BI, Salesforce.
• Experience in finance business partnership or strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own base management reporting for migrations and renewals, highlighting revenue risk locations.
• Deliver sales reporting and forecasting, including funnel analysis and pipeline coverage.
• Support monthly forecasts, annual planning, and performance reviews per FP&A processes.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario modeling for SPO.
• Translate financial and sales data into executive-ready insights for decisions.
• Own and enhance FP&A processes, tools, and reporting for efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead and develop a team of two analysts; mentor and communicate with executives.
• Partner with SPO and sales leadership to track performance against plan and drive actions.
