Job summary

Lumen, the trusted network for the AI-powered world, is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to drive financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the SPO organization. You will lead a two-person analytics team and collaborate with executives to shape revenue strategy.

This fully remote role supports migration/renewal reporting, sales forecasting, and the Revenue Finance rhythm. Strong leadership, strategic finance mindset, and executive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 7 or more years of experience in finance, with a strong background in planning, forecasting, and business case evaluation.
• Experience leading or mentoring analysts.
• Experience with revenue, sales, or customer base analytics (renewals, churn, contract term, or pipeline/funnel analysis).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Essbase, Power BI, and Salesforce.
• Experience working in finance business partnership, strategic initiatives, or related roles.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own base management reporting for migrations and renewals and inform renewal and retention priorities.
• Deliver sales reporting and forecasting, including funnel analysis, conversion, pipeline coverage, and sales productivity.
• Support the Revenue Finance rhythm of business with monthly forecasts, annual planning, and performance reviews.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, and business cases for SPO.
• Translate complex financial and sales data into executive-ready insights for decision-making.
• Lead FP&A processes, tools, and reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Mentor a team of two analysts and partner with SPO and sales leadership.
