Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead planning, performance management, and decision support for the SPO organization. You will guide a two-analyst team, own base management reporting for migrations and renewals, and drive revenue forecasting and fiscal rigor across the sales engine.

You’ll translate complex financial data into executive-ready insights, partner with SPO and sales leadership, and shape the finance rhythm of business in a fully remote US role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in finance with planning, forecasting, and business case evaluation.
• Experience leading or mentoring analysts.
• Experience with revenue, sales, or customer base analytics (renewals, churn, contract term, or pipeline/funnel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud, Essbase, Power BI, and Salesforce.
• Experience in finance business partnership or strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Reporting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis.
• Own base management reporting for migrations and renewals to highlight revenue risk and inform renewal priorities.
• Deliver sales reporting and forecasting including funnel analysis and pipeline coverage.
• Support Revenue Finance rhythm with monthly forecasts, annual planning, and performance reviews.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, and business cases for SPO.
• Translate complex data into executive-ready insights for decision-making.
• Own and enhance FP&A processes, tools, and reporting for efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two analysts; partner with SPO and sales leaders.
• Act as SME for FP&A methodologies within AGT and contribute to capability building.
