Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Corporate FP&A - Business Planning to help develop the Annual Operating Plan and long-term financial outlook. You will build models linking growth, investments, and profitability, and work with Strategy and FP&A teams to turn priorities into financial assumptions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional financial experience, preferably in FP&A, corporate finance, or related environment.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Prior FP&A experience with annual/long-term planning, financial modeling, forecasting, or strategic analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain complex financial models.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to translate analysis into business implications.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan and enterprise targets.
• Build and maintain financial models for multi-year plans and long-term outlooks.
• Develop scenarios and sensitivity analyses to inform growth and investment choices.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Transformation, and FP&A teams to translate priorities into financial assumptions.
• Analyze historical performance and trends to inform planning assumptions.
• Evaluate annual plan submissions for gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare executive-level presentations conveying financial implications and options.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency with enterprise objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning models, tools, and reporting.
