Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Financial Analyst II in Corporate FP&A – Performance Management to support budgeting, forecasting, close, and reporting processes across the enterprise. You will analyze actuals, develop schedules, prepare leadership materials, and partner with Finance teams to drive insights.

The role requires 1–3 years of financial experience, a Finance-related degree, strong Excel and analytical skills, and comfort with budgeting and forecasting in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional financial experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or retail finance.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication with Finance partners.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with FP&A systems like OneStream or SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budget and monthly forecast processes with templates and schedules.
• Assist period-close, P&L actualization, and recurring performance reporting.
• Prepare involved financial schedules, consolidations, and leadership materials.
• Analyze actual vs. budget/forecast to identify variances and drivers.
• Develop ad hoc analyses to inform enterprise forecasts and management reporting.
• Collaborate across Corporate FP&A and other Finance teams.
