Job summary

Elyria Foundry and Hodge Foundry, long-established manufacturers of large gray and ductile iron castings, seeks a Technical Sales Engineer in the Greater Cleveland area. You will identify customer needs, prepare technical proposals, and recommend casting solutions aligning with performance, cost, and manufacturing requirements.

This full-time, on-site role requires 5+ years in foundry sales/engineering, strong technical sales skills, and the ability to travel up to 75–80% while collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in industrial sales and applications engineering.
• 5+ years of foundry sales/engineering experience in a fast-paced metals industry (5–10 years).
• Experience with No Bake and Green Sand-Casting and Iron Casting processes preferred.
• Strong skills in technical sales, opportunity management, negotiation, and revenue growth.
• Ability to develop a strategic sales plan to hunt for new customers in our niche.
• Sales engineering and technical support to translate requirements into casting solutions.
• Excellent communication to explain technical concepts and proposals.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
