Accelera in Elyria, OH is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a multi-craft team in a 100+ year American foundry operation that produces heavy iron castings.

The role emphasizes equipment uptime, PM/PdM programs, safety, and hands-on leadership in a true heavy-industrial environment. Expect to mentor technicians, diagnose complex systems, and coordinate shutdowns and capital projects.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in heavy industry.
• Foundry, steel mill, casting, forging or similar heavy-manufacturing background preferred.
• Experience leading multi-craft maintenance technicians; strong troubleshooting skills.
• PLC troubleshooting with Allen-Bradley or Siemens; 480V 3-phase knowledge.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems; PM/PdM and CMMS experience.
• High safety standard understanding including LOTO.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of multi-craft maintenance technicians.
• Maximize equipment uptime and respond to critical breakdowns.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
• Lead root-cause analysis for recurring failures.
• Maintain heavy-foundry equipment and manage inventory.
• Coordinate contractors during shutdowns and capital projects.
• Partner with production leadership to improve reliability.
• Maintain strict safety standards including LOTO and PPE.
