Job summary

Elyria Foundry|Hodge Foundry, a historic casting operation in Elyria, Ohio, seeks a Process Engineering Manager to plan, coordinate and optimize foundry manufacturing processes. You will maintain SOPs for molding and core making, and actively drive continuous improvement across the business.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years in foundry/manufacturing, with strong project management and mentoring abilities, plus expertise in SPC/SQC and data-driven problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years in foundry/manufacturing.
• Sand molding foundry experience required OR related experience.
• Strong project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates, and directs process control programs to prevent or eliminate defects.
• Analyzes production capabilities, manufacturing problems, and design and development of new products for management review.
• Leads process engineering team and supports product engineering for quality improvements.
• Maintains SOPs and drives continuous improvement across molding and core making processes.
