Job summary

BetterUp is seeking a Forward Deployment Lead to own the toughest enterprise accounts and shape the charter, gates, and success metrics that drive platform adoption. You will work closely with CIOs, CHROs, and security architects in a customer environment, balancing business needs with technical feasibility.

You’ll write effective charters, navigate pricing and sponsor gaps, and guide a small squad of engineers to deliver strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management, solutions architecture, or a forward deployed role.
• Experience owning the technical relationship on enterprise accounts with seven/eight figure contracts.
• Proven ability to write charters, set gates, and influence deals.

Responsibilities

• Define technical success and write a charter for hard accounts.
• Decide whether to deploy and how to structure the engagement.
• Lead a squad of two to three forward deployed engineers.
• Close engagements in writing and drive them to platform adoption.
