Job summary

BetterUp seeks a seasoned Forward Deployment professional to lead technical relationships on enterprise accounts. You will define success criteria, write charters, and guide architectural decisions inside customer environments.

You will work with a small squad to ensure credible, data-driven outcomes that scale across platforms. You will collaborate with CIOs, CHROs, security teams, and procurement, while using AI-enabled prototyping tools to deliver tangible improvements and trustworthy

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management, solutions architecture, or forward deployed role.
• Experience owning technical relationships on enterprise accounts with seven/eight figure contracts.
• Proven ability to turn around at-risk accounts and regain trust.
• Deep technical literacy to review APIs, data pipelines, and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Define what technical success means on the hardest accounts and write a charter.
• Decide whether to deploy, and protect the team from non-technical blockers.
• Commit in writing what will be built and by when; refuse non-mission work.
• Manage relationships with CIOs, CHROs, procurement leads, and security architects.
• Clear gates on the account’s critical path and track influence with the deal team.
