Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer to design and implement production-grade data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform.

You will own the architecture, lead design decisions, and deliver end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI and application development. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, product and customer teams, guiding strategic customers, ensuring secure, scalable solutions, and delivering measurable business outcomes with strong customer

Qualifications

6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms or software engineering.
Proficient in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks.
Cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP, with expertise in at least one.
Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark.
Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
Working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models and AI APIs.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and design decisions for customer engagements.
Deliver production-grade systems and reference architectures.
Build end-to-end data, AI and application solutions on Databricks platform.
