Databricks is seeking a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer to work with customers, building production‑grade data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform.

You will own the architecture, lead design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI and application development. This hands-on, customer‑facing role requires engineering excellence and collaboration with engineering, product and developer relations teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering, data platforms, or software engineering.
• Experience with distributed computing and Spark runtime internals.
• Hands-on with CI/CD for production deployments and ML/AI models.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and deliver production-grade data/AI solutions for customers.
• Design reference architectures and end-to-end data ingestion and model integration.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and customer teams to ensure value.
• Provide feedback to product and support teams to improve delivery.
