Job summary

Talkdesk, Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer for HLS to lead architectural strategy and scalable agentic AI deployments for global enterprise customers.

You will design reusable patterns, mentor engineers, and partner with core product teams to deliver enterprise solutions, aligning with Talkdesk’s AI roadmap. The role requires 10+ years in software engineering with strong cloud/AI expertise and executive engagement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, systems architecture, or technical solutions engineering.
• 3+ years cloud services architecting and deploying AI/ML/Agentic solutions in production.
• Experience leading client-side architecture for large IT environments.
• Deep mastery of multi-agent systems, RAG pipelines, memory structures, and tool use frameworks.
• Expert knowledge of REST/GraphQL, webhooks, gRPC, event-driven architectures, Kafka/RabbitMQ.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead Technical Architect for Talkdesk’s largest global deployments.
• Design robust multi-agent architectures and reusable templates.
• Mentor FDEs and promote engineering best practices in AI delivery.
