SC Johnson is seeking a Senior Technician, Chemistry - Formulation to join the ICB Air Care Team in Racine, WI. You will contribute to formulation and testing of new and improved consumer products, applying chemistry knowledge and hands-on formulation experience in a dynamic lab setting.

Qualifikationen

• 2-year technical degree or related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Or a high school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.

Aufgaben

• Assist in formulation and development of Air Care products under guidance of senior scientists and engineers.
• Assist in development and documentation of new laboratory methods as needed to support ICB Air Care innovation.
• Prepare and test prototype formulations using laboratory equipment and techniques, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Conduct claims-related testing and performance evaluations on formulated products to assess quality, efficacy, and shelf-life characteristics.
• Record and analyze experimental data, documenting observations, results, and conclusions in electronic laboratory notebooks to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and inventory, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning for efficient operation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Manufacturing, quality control, and regulatory affairs, to support product development projects and meet project timelines.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute innovative ideas, and stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in formulation science.
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and other relevant regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations.
