SC Johnson in Racine, WI is seeking a Senior Technician, Chemistry – Formulation to join the ICB Air Care Team. You will contribute to the development of new and improved consumer products, applying your chemistry knowledge and hands-on formulation skills in a dynamic lab environment.

You will work with scientists and engineers to test prototype formulations, document methods, follow GLP and safety guidelines, and collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, quality control, and regulatory affairs to

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or related discipline with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulation and development of Air Care products under guidance of senior scientists and engineers.
• Develop and document new laboratory methods for ICB Air Care innovation.
• Prepare and test prototype formulations following established procedures.
• Conduct claims-related testing to assess quality and shelf-life characteristics.
• Record and analyze experimental data in electronic laboratory notebooks per company standards.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and inventory for efficient operation.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, QA, and Regulatory to meet project timelines.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and stay updated on industry trends.
• Follow GLP and other regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
