Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking a Senior Associate, Chemistry for the International Air Care unit. You will develop formulations for global markets, applying hands-on formulation expertise and cross-functional collaboration with regional RD&E, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams.

The role emphasizes DOE, statistical analysis, and innovative delivery technologies; relocation is eligible; remote work is available weekly after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science with 5+ years experience, or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize formulations for Air Care products across technologies (liquids, candles, gels, aerosols).
• Plan and conduct product testing including stability and performance assessments.
• Apply DOE, statistics, and lab testing to evaluate formulation performance.
• Transfer formulations from lab to pilot and first production across markets.
