SC Johnson is seeking a Senior Technician, Chemistry – Formulation to join the ICB Air Care Team in a dynamic lab setting. You will contribute to developing and testing new consumer products, applying chemistry knowledge to create high‑performing formulations for global markets.

Responsibilities include prototyping, documenting methods, and collaborating with R&D, Manufacturing, and regulatory teams while ensuring safety and quality compliance in daily activities.

Qualifications

• 2‑year technical degree or related discipline with relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; alternate pathway: high school diploma with 4 years experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist formulation and development of Air Care products under senior staff.
• Document new lab methods to support innovation.
• Prepare and test prototype formulations using lab equipment.
• Conduct tests to evaluate quality, efficacy, and shelf-life.
• Record data in electronic notebooks following GLP and company standards.
• Maintain lab equipment and inventory for efficient operations.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, QC, and regulatory teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends in formulation science.
