Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Supervisor Foreclosure to lead a team of foreclosure specialists and administrators, ensuring efficient performance against processes, timelines, and metrics. You will manage training and personnel oversight for the team, driving improvements and coordinating with other departments and partners.

The role requires strong analytical and leadership skills, with a focus on policy development, training, and performance management in a dynamic mortgage services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of foreclosure or mortgage service-related experience.
• 1-2 years of management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a staff of 8+ Foreclosure Specialists and Document Verification Specialists to timely and accurately manage a pipeline of loans through the foreclosure process.
• Develop and maintain up-to-date policies and procedures.
• Identify areas for process improvement and help implement new processes as necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of foreclosure process requirements across investors, insurers, clients, and jurisdictions.
• Track deadlines and SLAs relative to foreclosure timelines and department metrics.
• Train new hires on systems, investor guidelines, and industry standards.
• Train the team on new processes as implemented.
• Use reporting to manage the team and adjust reporting as needed.
• Oversee personnel management including coaching and annual reviews.
• Serve as point of contact for other departments and attorney firms on escalated issues.
