Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Loss Mitigation Supervisor to lead a team of specialists in minimizing losses on delinquent mortgages by following investor guidelines.

You will guide management and staff, supervise analysis of financial documents, and ensure effective training and performance tracking. The role requires strong negotiation, organization, and independent work capabilities in a fast-paced mortgage servicing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 6+ years Loss Mitigation experience.
• 2-4 years supervisory experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Understanding of mortgage lending and servicing.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and leadership for management and staff.
• Lead and mentor staff to develop skills and improve processes.
• Supervises analysis of financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and appraisals to approve resolutions.
• Tracks performance and provides monthly feedback.
• Oversees training and maintains documentation for the Loss Mitigation team.
• Ensure proper review and approval of Loss Mitigation workouts.
