Job summary

Qualifications

• Related food service experience required.
• Experience supervising staff is preferred but not required.
• Must obtain ServSafe Manager certification or provide proof within six months.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires, evaluates and terminates inmate food service employees.
• Trains and instructs all employees in duties of cooks, bakers, kitchen and dining staff.
• Supervises personnel in daily duties and maintains cafeteria operations.
• Ensures compliance with health, fire and OSHA inspections.
• Maintains accurate records and coordinates deliveries and menu adherence.
