Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and coordinate large, complex Food Service programs, overseeing all phases from RFPs through delivery and installation, with up to 25% travel to customer sites and manufacturing locations.

The role requires autonomy, strong customer engagement, and ability to collaborate across multiple divisions while driving financial targets and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in consumer environments.
• Experience managing large, complex, multidivisional programs.
• Strong background in wood, metal, and acrylic manufacturing.
• ERP systems experience, Epicor preferred.
• Advanced Excel, Outlook, Word, and Microsoft Project skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all phases of large customer programs including RFPs and orders.
• Manage timelines, obtain approvals, and monitor progress through completion.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and act as primary contact.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and vendors to drive growth and margins.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in quality, cost, and delivery.
• Mentor junior project managers.
