Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC designs and manufactures commercial food equipment and provides on-site service to Hobart Service customers. The role focuses on installation, diagnosis, and repair of HVACR and related systems across our equipment portfolio.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, experience with schematics, and a commitment to safety and customer service. The position requires travel and potential on-call duties in a dynamic service environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 4-7 years of food equipment service experience and/or 2-4 years of HVACR service experience
• Associates Degree or Vocational Certificate preferred.
• Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking and/or refrigeration equipment is preferred.
• Industry certification is highly desirable (CFESA/NATE/Hobart) and EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Installs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and/or refrigeration commercial food equipment and plans and leads more advanced installs as needed.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and/or refrigeration commercial food equipment for customers on contract and/or on a T&M basis.
• Ability to interpret and follow schematic diagrams.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sequence of operations for multiple operating modes.
• Adhere to state-specific and federal regulations related to combustion emissions.
• Completes and documents preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Promotes safety manuals and procedures.
• Supports new product introduction and maintains equipment knowledge.
