Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC designs and manufactures commercial food equipment and provides on-site service through Hobart Service networks. The Technician 2 supports installation and service of equipment at customer locations, with routine on-call, after-hours, holidays, and weekend work as required.

The role requires fundamental mechanical and electrical knowledge, ability to interpret schematics, and commitment to safety and quality during field service activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2–4 years electrical and mechanical experience, or
• HVACR service experience with EPA certification, or
• Vocational certificate in HVACR.

Responsibilities

• Install mechanical and electrical commercial food equipment and assist in advanced installs as needed.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair basic mechanical and electrical food equipment for on-site customers.
• Read and follow schematic diagrams and service manuals.
