Blue Origin is seeking a seasoned leader to manage and guide the fluids systems work on the New Glenn upper stage. You will lead hands-on design, development, supplier management, and system engineering efforts across fluids systems, driving test campaigns and qualification activities.

You will mentor engineers, enforce design standards, and oversee major testing, build, hot fire, and launch efforts. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a deep commitment to safety and inclusion.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or science (aerospace, mechanical, chemical, nuclear, or physics desired).
• 2+ years managing technical teams and/or leading functional groups of employees.
• 5+ years aerospace industry or related field experience.
• Strong technical fundamentals in fluids, thermodynamics, heat transfer, stress analysis, and fluid design.
• Experience with cryogenic components and aerospace testing campaigns.
• Familiarity working with supplier and supplier management.
• Ability to work in a cooperative, fast paced, and dynamic environment.
• Launch vehicle experience.
• Strong project management and leadership skills focused on delivering results.
• Strong supplier management and conflict resolution experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor teams across fluids systems on the New Glenn upper stage.
• Oversee design standards, interfaces, and technical issue resolution across stages.
• Drive testing campaigns, verifications, and qualification activities.
• Manage Engineering Change Approvals and procurement processes (MRP).
• Provide leadership during major test efforts and launch preparations.
• Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion.
