Blue Origin seeks a senior fluid systems engineer to support the development and operations of New Glenn. You will contribute to fluid modeling, thermal analyses, and documentation across design to flight operations, ensuring safety and reliability of spaceflight systems.

The role emphasizes analysis of booster/upper-stage fluid systems, collaboration across teams, and a strong commitment to quality and mission success.

Qualificações

• BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required.
• 15+ years of fluids or thermodynamic analysis experience is required.
• Expertise with at least one fluid modeling tool (e.g., SINDA/FLUINT, Thermal Desktop) is required.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or similar scripting tools is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform analysis-intensive tasks to support development and verification of fluid models for components and the vehicle.
• Develop fluid and thermal loads from CFD, first principles, literature, and experiments.
• Oversee configuration development, detailed design, and verification activities.
• Own documentation and maintenance of analysis inputs, models, and results in reports and data books.
