Job summary

The Hatch Group, Inc. is seeking a Fleet & Asset Manager to coordinate our vehicles and heavy equipment across multiple locations in Massachusetts.

You will maintain inventories, schedule maintenance, manage registrations and insurance, and work with operations, safety, and finance to optimize fleet usage and costs. This role involves coordinating seasonal fleet needs, driving process improvements, and ensuring timely, cost-effective service through internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in fleet coordination, fleet management, equipment administration, transportation, or construction operations preferred.
• Strong technology skills and the ability to maintain accurate records across multiple locations.
• Experience coordinating maintenance, registrations, insurance documentation, repairs, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate, centralized inventory of all company-owned and leased vehicles, trucks, heavy equipment, and designated operating assets.
• Track asset location, assignment, availability, condition, and driver or crew across locations.
• Coordinate seasonal vehicle requirements and execute the approved winter fleet plan.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate routine servicing, inspections, and repairs.
• Track registrations, inspections, insurance documentation, and expiration dates.
