Connect-Force is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to manage emergency repairs and maintenance for heavy-duty trucks in a hybrid, full-time role based in Plymouth, MI. The role focuses on coordinating repairs, tracking maintenance, and keeping drivers on the road.

Ideal candidates have experience with fleet maintenance, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and are adept at working with drivers, mechanics, and vendors to minimize downtime.

Formación

• Experience with heavy-duty trucks, diesel equipment, fleet maintenance, or coordinating vehicle repairs.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, particularly hydraulic systems.
• At least one year of relevant experience is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and make decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with drivers, mechanics, vendors, and operations personnel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn maintenance management software.
• High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school experience is a plus.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mentality.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate emergency roadside repairs and maintenance services for heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Communicate with drivers, mechanics, vendors, and internal teams to resolve mechanical issues and minimize downtime.
• Arrange maintenance services, follow up on repair progress, and ensure equipment gets back on the road safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with operations and terminal personnel to coordinate solutions when equipment breaks down.
• Assist with transportation and lodging arrangements when unexpected breakdowns occur.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, service updates, and maintenance activities.
• Provide detailed updates to drivers, maintenance teams, and incoming shifts for smooth transitions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, and overall fleet efficiency.
