Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Louisiana is seeking an Inspector to inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, pumps, and backflows, with minimal supervision. The role requires 3–5 years of field experience, a high school diploma, and NICET or state certification based on location.

You will work with customers, document deficiencies, and coordinate on-site inspections in a team environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• NICET and/or state required certification based on location is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA codes and work with sprinkler controls, alarm panels, devices, and critical components.
• Record and report deficiencies of fire protection systems to SFS and customers.
• Communicate with internal and external customers and offsite monitoring companies professionally.
• Plan, coordinate, and complete inspections as scheduled.
• Be in on-call status as required by location to handle emergency service and inspection requests.
• Ensure company-provided vehicle and tools are maintained.
